Indiana Connected by 25 is able to dramatically reduce the cost burden to our community through programs that have been proven to help foster success and independence among youth transitioning out of our foster care system. We are able to make a difference through:
- The Education and Training Voucher Program (ETV), where approved applicants can be awarded up to $5,000 each calendar year for post secondary education and vocational/technical training related costs.
- The Opportunity Passport Program, which provides financial education for foster care youth ages 14-26. Participants receive a $100 seed contribution and savings are matched up to $3,500 to purchase approved assets.
- The Indiana Youth Advisory Board (YAB), which meets regularly to develop and implement the foster care youth mission and postively impact the system in Indiana.
- Healthy Connections Learning Laboratory, provides healthcare education to transitioning youth, with an emphasis on healthy living and preventative medical care.
Will you help us continue our mission to foster success and productive independence for the youth in our community that are transitioning out of the foster care system? Watch stories of impact.
